Who are the mobile network operators in NZ?
In New Zealand, there are three mobile network operators. These companies own the infrastructure, such as cell towers, that keeps Kiwis connected to one another through calls, texts, and mobile data. One NZ
One NZ was previously known as Vodafone, and provides wide coverage to where Kiwis live and work. Their services cover 4G and 5G, including a range of other features that allow Kiwis to stay connected with one another from wherever they are.Â
2degrees
2degrees launched in 2009 as the newest mobile network in New Zealand. They arrived with a mission to fight for fairness. With over 2000 cell sites in the country, they also provide services in 4G and 5G, helping to connect Kiwis with one another in all corners of the motu.Â

MVNOs, or mobile virtual network operators, are companies who provide mobile services but do not own any of the infrastructure such as the cell towers.
